Hetwa offers solutions to optimise water management in watershed areas or sub-watershed areas.
Transfer project
Researchers have developed software for modelling biogeochemical flows and contaminants at watershed areas. The TTT maturation project has enabled the software to be consolidated and has supported a PhD student who created the software through to creating the start-up, for example by finding a CTO.
The company
The start-up offers customised solutions to local players, enabling them to target local problems in a specific manner and provide legislative guidance.
HETWA aims to develop a monitoring platform for assessing the quantity and quality of water resources at different management levels, such as bodies of water, sub-watersheds, watersheds and water resource management plans (SDAGE), using modelling.
Development
The research carried out by the EcoLab laboratory is in the field of ecology and environmental sciences, at the crossroads between life sciences, universe sciences and human and social sciences, in a sustainable development framework.
