Stages of technological maturation
From basic research to industrialisation, our experts support you in developing your innovation project.
The TRL (Technology Readiness Level) scale is used to determine the maturity level of a technology according to 9 levels: the definition, description and laboratory validation of a research result is equivalent to a TRL level of 2 to 3. The objective of maturation is to move the TRL level up to 4 to 7.)

From maturation to startup creation with Toulouse Tech Transfer
Micropep developed a patented technology as an alternative to chemical pesticides and fertilisers. This disruptive technology stems from a basic discovery made in the Plant Science Research Laboratory.
Founded in 2016, this startup received support from our SATT who had identified the potential of this invention, capable of changing the face of agricultural biotechnologies.
After investing €1.5 million to mature the technology, our team supported the project until the startup was founded.
